Operations Manager

Ashley joined Express Employment Professionals in November 2022 as an Employment Specialist, utilizing her several years of experience in Retail Management and Construction Supply Sales in Red Deer, Alberta. Her dedication to matching qualified candidates with the right opportunities and fostering strong client relationships quickly advanced her to Operations Coordinator for Express Healthcare Staffing. By June 2024, Ashley had earned her current role as Operations Manager, overseeing Express Healthcare’s only Canadian location, and one of the company’s top-performing offices

As a leader in operations, Ashley thrives in the dynamic staffing environment and takes pride in building and nurturing strong, collaborative relationships with her team and valued clients. Her Express certifications include Business Management, Inside Sales, and Front Office Coordination, and she is keenly advancing her leadership skills through Express Leadership Academy, Class 8, set to graduate in 2025.

Outside of work, Ashley loves fostering animals, exploring the local hiking trails, playing co-ed slo-pitch, camping, live music, and spending quality time with family located throughout Central Alberta. Ashley’s proudest achievement is leading an exceptional team to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare system in Canada.

Shannon Gale

Healthcare Recruiter & Contract Specialist

Shannon joined Express in October 2023, bringing a passion for connecting healthcare professionals with opportunities that make a difference. Starting as a healthcare recruiter, she quickly transitioned into contract management and the per diem desk, excelling at navigating the complexities of staffing in the healthcare sector. Shannon finds great fulfillment in helping nurses travel across Canada, particularly to rural communities that rely on their expertise.

Currently, she is focused on expanding Express's reach into the dental healthcare sector and is excited about the challenges and opportunities this new venture presents. Shannon looks forward to fostering strong partnerships within the industry.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys a variety of creative and nurturing hobbies. She is an avid gardener and loves quilting and sewing, often finding joy in crafting unique pieces. Her passion for caring for houseplants keeps her connected to nature, and she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes. Additionally, Shannon dabbles in reselling vintage items, bringing new life to cherished treasures.
