Lucy Torres has been the Franchise Owner of Express Employment Professionals since 2011.Lucy is a highly experienced Human Resources and Recruiting professional with more than 20 years of industry experience. She has worked with significant Fortune 500 companies, including those in the healthcare, financial services, and pharmaceutical sectors. Lucy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Alverno College and a Master's in Management from Cardinal Stritch University. She is an active member of the Waukegan Chamber of Commerce Board and is involved with the Hispanic Chamber of Lake County.

The Express Waukegan office has been consistently earning the prestigious "Circle Office" Award since 2013 for the Express system, making it an award-winning office. Additionally, Lucy Torres, the founder of the Waukegan office, received the Hispanic Business of the Year Award in Lake County from the Illinois Small Business Development Center in 2016. To cater to the needs of the Hispanic workforce in Lake County, the Waukegan staff is fully bilingual in Spanish.

Lucy has a diverse set of hobbies that she enjoys, including shopping, traveling, and planting flowers for her home. Additionally, Lucy takes pride in her job and finds joy in being able to help client companies save money by finding them the right talent.
